On Sept. 27, 2011 our house was flooded out by a water main break and subsequent deluge of mud and debris down an embankment. Our media room located in our basement had to be gutted. Our home insurance was activated and a restoration comany started to tear out the room. As the project progressed, various contractors were involved. A paint product was applied to seal the cement floor. Unfortunately the product used was incompatible with the existing materials on the floor and resulted in excessive gassing off of toxic fumes and no drying occurred. The painting contractor involved did not know what to do to resolve the problem, so the restoration company called Pacific Preferred Developments Ltd. and Andre Giasson, Manager, called me immediately and came to my home to do a site inspection that evening. A hazmat crew arrived and set up a negative vent system in the basement to remove all toxic air and the next three days, Andre had his crew come in to my home to remove the offending materials. They were a group of great people and they startd a process to remove the paint from the floor, which was very labour intensive, then prepared the floor for resurfacing with a non-toxic product.

Pacific Preferred Developments are a professional company that can be trusted to do the job properly. Andre communicated and updated me throughout the whole process. I highly recommend this service company.
